Samsung is making a strong move to grow its presence in the U.S. chip industry. The company is offering base salaries as high as $320,000 for key roles like directors and managers at Samsung America. This shows their commitment to hiring top talent for their semiconductor business.

They are currently recruiting for three important positions: two focused on sales and business development, and one for a senior engineering manager. The company is also investing heavily in new facilities. A new chip factory in Taylor, Texas, is under construction and expected to start production between late 2026 and early 2027.

This plant will help Samsung strengthen its role in the fast-growing U.S. chip market, especially as demand for AI-driven chips rises. The AI chip market is projected to grow from $23.1 billion in 2024 to $47.8 billion by 2034, with companies like Broadcom and Marvell leading the charge.

Samsung’s strategy is clear: attract skilled workers with competitive pay and build advanced factories to meet future needs. These efforts position Samsung to compete in the booming semiconductor industry and support the growing demand for cutting-edge technology in the U.S.
