Samsung has surprised everyone by preparing a stable One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S25 series sooner than expected. According to recent reports, a non-beta firmware version has appeared on Samsung’s servers, hinting that the official release might be close.

While it’s not certain this will be the final version rolled out to users, it’s a big step forward for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. One UI 8, built on Android 16, is currently in beta testing for the Galaxy S25 series, starting in countries like Germany, South Korea, the UK, and the US.

The beta program began on May 28, 2025, and has already seen two updates, bringing new features and fixes. The stable version is expected to launch with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 in July 2025, but this early stable build suggests Samsung might release it even sooner for the S25 series.

This update promises smoother performance, better animations, and new AI features for Galaxy devices. While only the S25 series is part of the beta program for now, other devices like the Galaxy S24, Z Fold 6, and A56 are also being tested for One UI 8. Samsung’s fast progress shows its commitment to delivering a polished experience to its users quickly. Keep an eye out for more updates as the rollout nears.
