Samsung is rolling out its June 2025 security update to keep devices safe and smooth. The Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy S23 series are among the latest to receive this patch, fixing key security issues for users.

For the Galaxy A53 5G, the update is now available in Europe, starting with countries like Germany and the Netherlands. It brings the firmware version A536BXXSEFXF3 and focuses on patching 19 security flaws specific to Samsung devices.

Users can check for the update by going to Settings, then Software Update, and tapping Download and Install. This ensures the phone stays protected against potential threats. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra in the USA are also getting the June 2025 security patch.

This update, with firmware versions ending in FYF1, is rolling out to both carrier-locked and unlocked models. It includes fixes for 36 Android vulnerabilities and 19 Samsung-specific issues, boosting device safety. To get it, users can navigate to Settings, select Software Update, and choose Download and Install.
